Bloody Life again
Blood donation drives along-with Think foundation and Lions Club Mumbai. Think foundation supports more than 1000 children suffering from Thalassaemia Major in Mumbai. These children are born with a genetic disorder, which is detected when the child is approximately three months old. From then on, the child needs blood transfusions, on an average of every 15 days, throughout life.
Shortage of blood in the Blood Banks affects these children the most. Thalassaemic children and their parents have to then run from pillar to post.
